Hi, I'm Cristian, a Senior Software Engineer who still can't leave a system alone until I understand how it actually works.
That curiosity started with video games. As a kid I'd go to the local cyber in Tacna hoping to copy a game to take home, and all I ever got was the shortcut file, not the game itself. I remember sitting there wondering why, what a shortcut even was, how any of it worked underneath. That question never really left.
Today I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Legimus, building an AI-powered SaaS platform from scratch: LLM orchestration, real-time infrastructure, multi-tenant architecture. Before that: Todofull Mujeron, Knowbly Learning Systems, and a stretch of freelance e-commerce work, mostly Node.js and TypeScript with hands-on AWS.
The project I'm proudest of isn't work at all. It's my own Raspberry Pi 5 homelab: an AI assistant, DNS-level ad blocking with custom network segmentation for guest devices, a WiFi/Bluetooth device scanner with proactive Telegram alerts, n8n automations, a secrets manager I built myself (sops, age, TOTP), and most recently a full Stremio TV setup with its own scripts, daemons, and search fallbacks. None of it started as a resume line. I built it because I wanted to know how it actually worked, same as that shortcut file years ago.
Outside of code, I co-founded Codenity, a developer community in Tacna running meetups and workshops for six years, and I've volunteered with PATCH for the past three, mostly around their Christmas activities.
